Ok.. I might post more pictures when the light is better/my arm isn’t swollen, my hand isn’t shaking. Trying to think of a tl;dr way to explain why I have this, which is that I’ve been a Dir en grey fan for ten years now - pretty much half my life, and wanted this to commemorate my 70th show (yes, 70 lol It’s been a lot of work :D). I’ve only ever seen them in Japan, and the experience with them and the fans is incredible and insane and has changed my life. Every tour, every change in them as people and in their music.
It’s up for debate, but the official translation of the lyrics is;

I thought about this the night Kyo lost his voice. When he was so frustrated he hurt himself after so long of not because he just couldn’t sing anymore. I and many other have screamed and sung and wailed like we’re dying until our voices can’t hold out anymore. And so, yeah. So much for tl;dr :D;
